aw17 wrap up

Whenever fashion week rolls around we would be lying if we didn’t admit to checking vogue.com each morning to see who’s showed overnight. AW17 was no different… we were blown away with the diverse inspiration behind the collections, new textures and a darker feel to a lot of the ranges. Etro is always a Spell favourite, with 70’s style origins, but this season Alexander McQueen blew us away with their astral gowns.

Gucci took embellishments it to a whole new level and Zimmermann’s take on luxe lace have us high-fiving for the Australian fashion label who has always been a huge inspiration to our own fashion journey! Until September, lovers… x
